SAIACS, in partnership with Asbury Theological Seminary, has launched a DMin Programme, which provides an exciting opportunity for candidates from India and other South Asian countries to study under globally acclaimed professors and earn a fully accredited DMin degree from Asbury Theological Seminary through SAIACS.
- Programme Overview
This is a 3 years, non-residential, cohort-based programme with brief residencies at SAIACS and one trip to Asbury Theological Seminary. Persons leading churches, educational institutions, ministry agencies, faith-based non-profit organizations, church planters will benefit from this programme. It is flexible and affordable. Candidates will enroll with SAIACS and eventually be enrolled with Asbury Theological Seminary. The number of available seats is limited and the Cohort will be launched in the month of September 2022.
- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Divinity Degree or equivalent.
- Substantial years of full-time ministry experience.
- Completed application form.
- Complete the Personal History Essay and Resume details.
- Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended after Higher Secondary Education.
- Letter of congregational or institutional approval.
- References from:
1. A leading layperson in your present church.
2. Your immediate supervisor in ministerial appointment (e.g., your District Superintendent).
3. Two colleagues. - A research paper written during your Master of Divinity degree (or educational equivalent). If such a paper is not available, newly written research in proper academic format, around 3000 words.

- COURSE COMPONENTS
Students are expected to complete six courses and a dissertation. The dissertation/The Ministry Transformation Project will be done in conjunction with the course.
- COST OF THE PROGAMME
Tuition and Fees
- This is a highly subsidized programme. The cost mentioned below is 75% subsidized from the actual cost.
- Each year, Students pay Rs. 1,50,000/- (one lakh fifty thousand) in two installments, i.e., Rs. 75,000/- (seventy-five thousand) per semester.
- The total tuition fees for the 3 year DMin degree is Rs. 4,50,000/- (four lakhs fifty thousand).
- Other expenses include approximately Rs. 5000/- for books relevant to each course (6 courses in all).
Other Expenses
- SAIACS will be responsible for the following costs during residency (2-4 weeks) in Years 1 and 3: lodging and meals.
- Similarly, Asbury Theological Seminary will be responsible for the following costs during residency (2-4 weeks) in Year 2: lodging and meals.
- Travel cost, visa expenses, and insurance will be borne by the students for the trip to Asbury Seminary.
