In the first book of his popular three-volume magnum opus “Lord of the Rings,” JRR Tolkien narrates a fascinating conversation between Frodo Baggins, the young Hobbit, and Gandalf, the wise wizard. Gandalf explains to Frodo – who is now in possession of the powerful One Ring – the origin and the strange power of the Ring, and that the evil Sauron has returned to capture this Ring, unleashing catastrophic events.
