Prince Kumar

Mr Prince Kumar Tamilarasan is a graduate of SAIACS with an MTh in Old Testament. In May 2018, he joined SAIACS as a faculty-in-training in the OT department. Presently, he is working on a proposal for his PhD dissertation and teaches courses in OT. Before joining SAIACS full-time, he served as a discipleship pastor in First Assembly of God church in 2015, and taught Hebrew grammar and exegesis as visiting faculty at SAIACS between 2015 and 2017.

Formerly, Mr Prince worked for his father’s business in Tamil Nadu. In 2005, he left the business and served India Gospel League (IGL) as administrative assistant in rural ministries for six years. During his tenure with IGL, he also functioned as a pastor among medical college students, anchoring and leading English services for them.

Mr Prince earned his BSc in Mathematics from GTN Arts College, TN, and an MA and MPhil in English Literature from Annamalai University, TN. In theological studies, he holds an MDiv and MTh in OT from SAIACS. He is passionate about teaching and developing disciples for Christ. He also loves playing sports, and is a lover of nature. 

Mr Prince is married to Annie Thomas, who is also a graduate of SAIACS (MTh, OT) and teaches biblical studies for the SAIACS Bible for All online programme. They have a three-year-old daughter, Divya Mana Prince.
