Rev Dr John Daniel

An accountant by profession, Rev Dr G. John Daniel serves as an Academic Dean from April 2020, also serves as a professor of missions at SAIACS. He committed his life to full-time ministry in 1989, when he began working as an evangelist with children in slums and villages. After completing his MDiv in 1993 and planting an English church in Trichy, John went on to earn his MTh (OT) from SAIACS in 1998. After graduation, he started a Bible college for the Assemblies of God in Chennai. He also took charge of the English congregation of New Life Assembly of God, Chennai.

Since that time, he has planted twenty-eight churches in different parts of Tamil Nadu, and was instrumental in starting Tamil Bible schools in London and Copenhagen. He also started a senior citizen’s home and led it for nine years. He spent a three-year stint in Singapore, where he was the senior pastor of Praise Evangelical Church. John has served as an adjunct faculty in several Bible schools and colleges in Europe, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

John’s passion is to train pastors and believers for the work of the Lord. Currently, he oversees five churches. He completed his PhD in Missions in March 2019.

He is married to Sylvia, and they have two sons, Yoahann and Jonathan.
